I am recreating this discussion, because I need more opinions.

I made a discussion post about utilization of post tags before the wipe. To recall the outcome, we decided on encouraging, but never forcing their usage. I also suggested making a list of major tags, and putting them with their explanations on the upcoming FAQ. You would be able to tag posts as you wish too, including tags for content creators, characters, or really niche interests, as well to blacklist controversial content, such as scat or lolicon.

In addition to that, I suggested creating a separate GuroWiki. There, any guro interest including niche ones could have it's own article. It would include much more besides just a guide for tagging. There would also be topics like Gurochan's history and prehistory, characters like Bikko or Jissouseki, guides on finding guro material, erotic or noneronic guro games or similar game mods... Think it like a centralized extensive wiki for everything in guro culture, as it's already hard to find related information on the non-Japanese web.

So far, it has been a controversial idea, because a Wiki for a 'slow site like Gurochan' (note that kokonotsuba is released, we will now start working on increasing the userbase) which is open for anyone to edit would get vandalized or abandoned, or because 'guro doesn't have enough actual cultural value that would be worth putting on a wiki'. That's why I am here, asking for your opinions, as well if you would contribute to a such wiki.

Seems to be a typical conversion problem with int32/int64/float. As far as I see it, the image numbers were truncated, e.g. 1612525308027.jpg to 1612525308.jpg, which is hinting at int32 (1,612,525,308). The images that work seems to be cleanly truncated, while the missing images were rounded in some way, e.g. 1612524931999.jpg to 1612524932.jpg.

And guess what? The cleanly truncated image is still there, the given number is the start image of the 3Dhanging thread in 3dcg, which is broken in the post.

Only the link in the post is rounded wrong. I guess there will still be some images missing because the truncation will have produced duplicates.

I am sure you all know about what happened with the files on the boards. I am incredibly disappointed just as you are, but I fear there is very little I can do beyond comfort you.

Some have complained about Gurochan being slow this past week, and I attribute that mostly to the constant changes and downtime, which is now over.

Hi, I've never started a discussion before so I apologize for formatting errors.

I haven't seen a mod active, so I wanted to ask other users - Is that "anonymous" an actual mod? If the ban IS real, I can completely understand, but I'm having my doubts considering they only have "Anonymous" as a name… hard to be a mod if you're unidentifiable from other users, right?

Gurochan, can anyone here confirm if that's a real mod or not posting?

Hello there. I've been arguing with this one guy who is either a really bad, repetitive troll or a generally disturbed man with an irrational hatred of the fair sex. I suppose I should have expected this from the material on this site, but still. I'm into guro and all sorts of messed up stuff too. But I am no misogynist or any kind of bigot.

Is there anyone here like him who has these feelings? Tell me why, explain yourself, and maybe even try to convince me.

I don't want to have to delete stuff and I want this to be a free place to share your shit. But using this site to circumvent artists' rights to sell their content how they want to, in a deliberate and egregious manner, will not be tolerated.

We're not going to track down every fucking image which might possibly be paywall scumming but if you do it and brag about it or create threads with the explicit intention of stealing from artists don't be shocked if they are deleted.

I've gotten quite intrested in some of the writing I've found here. Visitorblack is a absolutely god at writing Dolcet/cannibalism/girlleather. And I want to get better at writing guro/grosetque stuff, perhaps there could be a thread where writers discuss and share writing techniques? Theres already a abandoned prompts thread and one for finding works. Thoughts?

I've been looking for an artwork i passed by through gurochan and i cant find it anymore. It's about 3 (or maybe 2) APCs carrying futuristic scantilily clad women, and one of the vehicles got shot with an Anti Tank shell, punching through the back of the vehicle along with the eviscerated remains of it's unfortunate passangers.

if it helps the artist also drew some kind of storage room filled with the corpses of these military fuckmeats most of them eviscerated from the horrors of war. By the way the artist posts on pixiv too.
