The only CP being spammed is in the same image that guy attaches in every thread of his. The link he posts is obviously some type of FBI honeypot. It's pure AIDS. It sucks that not only does he post the same boring image every time, it scares off a chunk of people that are scared shitless of the feds, despite the fact they really can't do anything to you if all you've done is view the image. Back in the early days of gurochan, or sites like 2kochan, it was way more common to see CP posted by actual pedos and not feds, so I guess this is why seemingly only people that have been around since the .net days aren't freaking out over this spam. Just remember, 99% of the time, feds only crack down on CP distributors, and the unlucky few that fall for their honeypots.

Since it is pretty easy to translate between languages with chrome translation, Japanese language should not be a very issue.
So in my opinion it would be ok to write in Japanese even on the existing boards or even post Japanese relies to English threads, even if that will look a bit weird.

From the English gurochan user perspective, it will be a benefit to have Japanese users here too, in case some help is needed with translation or other things.

You are more than welcome on gurochan. You should feel free to create your own chat threads, or use existing threads here. It would be very appreciated if you tell users on futaba about here, and if you wish, we can create additional Japanese pages explaining gurochan and the rules.

It can't detect the link is inside GUROchan.

The jump.kolyma.org detour is the only benefit our server host is making except for the site ads (which are easily blockable with an adblocker), so while it has been conversational, I won't remove it out of my respect for him unless he wants otherwise. Kuz is my dearest friend and I believe he deserves GC using his personal detour for generously covering server fees of GUROchan.

We are aware, but without any active PHP developers working for the software, we can't fix those old links sadly. As you said, selecting text and opening in the new window is the best thing I could suggest for now

I actually found many interesting things in the jump zone and I think one of the reasons why the previous iteration of GUROchan disappeared was the lack of funding.I don't get why people are bothered by adds and the jump zone because I can tell there is no virus, trojan or other such stuff! Everything attached to GUROchan is clean and most of the time helpful! You and KUZ are doing a great job! It's funny how people complain about adds and stuff when the previous iteration was swarmed but spammers, trolls, religious nuts and runned by an actual madman! I do understand the purpose of the jump zone and it's ok with me. My idea wasn't in the first place to skip the ads, but to give the readers the same smooth experience with referenced/quoted images inside of gurochan (previewed and clickable) as with the posting links (e. g. >>1563). Too sad that there is no solution.
