Ganymed, I'm really going to try, but what keeps me from doing so are the 20 posts, the points I think many friends here would help. I sent a request to Drabok's mypixiv, confident that it will publish there too.

Viphentai has posted some Krogue and Sapik files in the last few months, but they have not replicated any more since Krogue should not have allowed this anymore. But as Drabok authorizes, there is a chance that his stories will appear there.

Viphentai and similar sites are stealing the content they are selling, most of it from lolicit. Some artists don't care, but some aren't very happy about it, and afaik some have even stopped posting because of that. But these sites don't care at all what the artists want.

Should a representative collection of old-timers talk to the admins to try to convince them that a better strategy would be to find a new host? Actually, if this is true, than I'm wondering, the page is still up at all. Germany is one of the countries, were drawn (and even written) stuff could be counted as CP and even give you jail time (up to five years), if a judge decides, it shows / describes stuff that's too close to reality (and this is a pretty fuzzy definition and not further clarified, so you never know, if a manga art pic is fine or not for lea / a judge).

Firstly I would like to thank Drabok for his artwork and commitment. His work has been one of my main reasons to visit this website and I'm sad to think I won't get any further updates in the series..

I did sign up for lolicit but the overall vibe didn't really sit well with me, and having to complete 20 posts in an environment where I'm not completely comfortable residing in turned me off from it. If however that's the only place where I can continue to get Drabok's work, I may have to reconsider it.

At the same time, I remember reading that lolicit wasn't completely OK with BDSM / torture depictions, so maybe his work won't sit well there either…?

Drabok didn't even need 24 hours to get to full member status, but to be fair he got an absurd amount of rep just because it's him, that will be harder for everybody else. I'm sure as long as this thread stays around for a little longer he will make another post once he figures out what he's going to do going forward. But I assume it would be a good idea for every fan now to try to get into lolicit. I'll help where I can, but other than giving you a little bit of rep once and answering questions you might have I can't really do much.

I am confused - where is the evidence there is a real issue. I suggest Darbok continue as normal if things fall apart then ok. But alternative sites are just such a pain.

Well, because of Drabok I signed up for the lolicit. I am reluctant to comment or participate in discussions. But in order to get in fully, I will need to put that aside.
I think he has quite a fan here and if we all try and help each other everything will be easier.

He accepted me on his mypixiv, but I don't know how it would work. I follow another artist on pixiv called jm600r, he is also being censored there, I don't know why since his stories are a beautiful novel. Many followers of them are passing alternatives like baraag.net and allthefallen.moe, of course in addition to the ones I had previously mentioned as MEGA.NZ where he would put a censored image and the link in the post and of course Mypixiv, but that depends than Drabok feels comfortable doing.

I'm sure the lolicit is the best place for him professionally, but many fans will not have the patience to enter. Well I'll try until I get it, because Drabok deserves it, because his work is incredible.

Ganymed, that would certainly happen, he has a lot of fans and he gets a lot more because he really listens to his fans and tries to do what they ask.
But me and many here who are just connoisseurs and don't produce anything, it will be a great challenge to become a total member.

Getting into lolicit for any guro fans may be pretty easy if other members help.
Because we can quickly give rep required. Just mention that you are from gurochan and you will collect all rep required within 1 day
I will immediately give 15 rep to everyone, Ganymed probably gan give his 8. and maybe there are some others who will be willing to help. You also need to make 20 random posts but don't worry about that as nobody reads that stuff anyway LOL just write something generic to make some presence.
The rep is given not so much for your posts but for your fetish list and your avatar.

Probably with Drabok and Sapik joining this site guro section will get more lively as now it was pretty much dead maybe if more guro fans will join there will be some more reason to post guro things there too.

Here's what I suggest. If you're new over there, or even if you aren't, and need Rep, post your Member name here.

Then other people from this thread can get you up and running over there. I suggest we all help each other out in this fashion. We already know the group hanging out in this thread are people we want to keep interacting with, so it's not like we're doing something bad.

In general I like what Onix suggested, but putting a little bit of effort into some of your posts can't hurt. We are supposed to give rep to posts that deserve it, and if we don't, it can get taken away - just because I have never seen that, it doesn't mean it can't happen. We don't want that to happen. But helping each other is completely fine, almost all the rep to newbies is given out just because people like the same things - a real high quality post is pretty rare.

Lolicit: Yes because of my name it was very easy for me to get to membership, which is required if you want to see the contents. The hardest part was to think of twenty not totally meaningless things to say in the "Lolicon discussion" thread which is open to everybody.

I know it's harder if you are not an artist. But if you want to get in I now think it's also not that hard.

And one thing that surprised me: I was not only able to access lolicit through tor, but even to register with the tor browser. I had to enter a working e-mail address but that one should hopefully be anonymous.

The reasons to argue for lolicit have been the same every time it happened. The first time some people argued for lolicit was when the old gurochan went down. I wasn't even a member then and not part of that effort, but it got me to check it out myself. The last time I argued for lolicit just in case, because a few developments on gurochan were worrying (the CP-spammer, the Tor ban, the flood protection, a few short downtimes, no communication from the staff about any of this). This time, we got what I was worried about for a while - I was more worried about the site going down again, but this ban is probably even worse for us.
Arguing that lolicit is the best alternative is just logical for anybody who is already there, because as Drabok can see now: Once you're in, it's a great site. And getting in is not as hard as it seems.

We will see what's going to happen here. There are probably two main reasons why nothing has been deleted yet: 1. They want to give all of us time, to save the content and to figure out what to do. That's what we have been doing here. 2. I'm sure the staff is trying to figure out a way around this. They should be aware that deleting all of this content might kill this site for good. But unfortunately I have my doubts they really have many options. If the server host wants this content gone, it's between deleting all of it or taking the whole site down until another server host is found, and that might take a while.

Hey all, like many of you, the notice that gurochan will be neutered has encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone. I really admire the work Drabok, Onix, and others willing to create art that no one else will. I made an account on Lolicit (user: FantasyLife) which I'm excited about. I've never directly joined a forum like that, so it should be fun to associate with fans of the kind of content Lolicit hosts. At the end, I think its important that we keep in touch and support. Looks like I was late to this party. How's this for a kicker? I prefer boy art (about 80/20) but this was so amazing I had to read all the way through. All the while I'm wondering if the story would wrap before the ban I know is already coming. If the story were still going I was ready to chime in late to request arrow piercing but you got around to that.

If a real purge is coming will entire threads be deleted or just offending art? It might be a good idea to start another thread, either by Drabok or with Drabok as the subject just to have a reference point to follow up on alternatives. No artwork so no threat of deletion.

Hello, First I would like to say that I am a fan of Drabok work and I like gurochan a lot so it makes me sad. That this ban has occured. I hate when this kind of things happen since this is just fantasy no one real is hurt so there is no real reason to ban this kind of content.

And I also think the same about gurochan.
I would not like to leave it even if lolis are banned. Maybe there will be another host someday, and such a ban already happened on the previous gurochan reincarnation too and it was lifted eventually.

Even if gurochan comes back again, lolicit will be useful for archiving works that would be otherwise lost here because threads eventually age away
My first series thread with over 1000 pictures already got deleted because it was too old.

BY the way if you want to save this or any other thread on gurochan before it gets deleted:

click expand all images
then use "save page as" on chrome (and possibly firefox too.)
and everything will be saved along with comments.

I signed up for lolicit a long time ago (same name as here), but never bothered to get that 20 posts and rep. I hope someone from here can help me with it. Also: the suggestion of lolibooru is fine, but there is no discussion there. Same goes for chan.sankakucomplex.com (another booru) where Draboks art would very probably also be welcome. Still, as a backup it would probably good to post there.

Drabok: do you have all your images as a .zip to put them on Mega or sth. like that? Downloading every image from GC would be a very tiresome task.

yeah i'm not too hype about joining lolicit, with that forced participation quota.
reason being that my favorite set from Drabok is already on pixiv which is the one in the OP.

so i can always easily go back to that without having to jump all these hoops.

Drabok, the sheer scale of your project is almost overwhelming. The passion and determination shown, especially with the intermittent difficulties in gaining access to post, is awe inspiring.

I wasn't a big fan of 3D works in the beginning, but your work, as well as those of Onix and DarkReferee, have kept me entranced.

A lot of Drabok's work has already been posted on Lolicit by others, so I don't think there won't be any problem.
Besides there is some other interesting stuf to be found. Search for 'Lunarchitech'. You'll see what I mean.

I'm glad all seems to work out. A few gurochan refugees already got to full membership, some just need to make a bunch of posts and have the necessary rep already. And everybody else seems to be well on the way, I think Onix and I have repped almost everybody, others have helped a lot too. At least a few of you got repped by people who are definitely no guro fans, so making an effort in your posts can help.

Those who got in should be able to confirm that there is a bunch of interesting content by other artists, not just in the guro section.

When some of you don't want to follow us to lolicit that's your decision. It's currently much easier to join for guro fans than it ever was, when I joined it took me a week and well over 30 posts to get enough rep.
